As I was busy packing, feeding the baby, and chatting on the phone all at the same time, Peyton emerged from my bedroom with a bloody tooth in her hand. We knew she had another loose tooth, but didn't realize it was ready to fall out. There was no screaming or fear this time. She just took it upon herself to go quietly into the bathroom and yank out her own tooth. Crazy, since the tooth she lost about 3 weeks ago was loose for like a month and we couldn't even dare touch it or joke about pulling it out for her. She would freak out and have a mini panic attack. To see the sense of accomplishment and pride in her face when she showed us her tooth was priceless.
