Losing Teeth and Getting Teeth!!!
Teeth seem to be coming and going in this household lately! I feel like Kai has been cutting teeth since he was 4 months, yet he only has 2 1/4 teeth. Peyton has 2 1/2 holes in her mouth from losing teeth. Funny huh? So, last night Peyton kept saying her top tooth hurt and she needed to pull it out. I told her leave me out of it and just yank it out. I can't stand the feeling of a wiggly tooth and the blood, oh the sight of blood, sends me over the edge! I can handle poopy diapers, vomit, and curdled milk in a bottle that somehow rolled under the couch for days, but not blood! It seems Peyton may have a little vampire in her because she loves the taste of her blood when she loses a tooth. She worked on it for 30 minutes and nothing happened. Back to bed she went. When Andy got home from soccer, he went to check on her and sure enough she was still awake. The next 40 minutes were filled with screams, ewws, no daddy, mmmm blood, and 1,2,3 pull!! Finally, it was out! Into the box the tooth went and it will go under the pillow tonight. Apparently, the tooth fairy was out of cash last night.
Kai has his big front tooth coming in. With this going on, he has started a new annoying habit. He grinds his bottom teeth with his quarter top one and makes a horrible noise. He has been knawing on his hands, feet, furniture, and everything he shouldn't have in his mouth. Dirty shoes, dog bones, dog bowls, paper towels, the leather chair, the camera, and my shoulder are just a few of Kai's teething objects. I just hope his teeth don't start coming in too fast, because I love his little beaver smile!!

Did You Really Just Do That?
With the girls off at school Kai is clearly bored! Peyton and Eliza were his source of amusement all day everyday. I don't think he finds me funny and when we play he just crawls away and looks for other things to do. Here are a few compromising positions I have found him in, just in the last two days. It is time to find a playgroup and some classes to keep this little one busy!!

First Day of School!
It wasn't easy getting the girls to smile this morning. The fact that they wear a uniform made the morning go quite a bit smoother.
all the supplies we had to get, well almost all
looking pleased to be back in school
do i have to go inside the room?

do i have to go inside the room?
tried for another picture again at the school, but the sun was in their eyes

YEAH!! The first day of school has finally arrived and our girls were wrecked! They were so nervous they couldn't eat breakfast or speak. I thought for sure Eliza would just breeze into the classroom and take over. Ahhh, no. She hid behind me, ignored her teacher, her eyes were glued to the floor, and she looked like she had just seen a ghost. (Peyton claims there is a ghost in our apartment, but that is another story.) I could feel Eliza's pain, but knew that this would be a great year for her. She loves learning and I just knew she would have a wonderful day. We kissed her bye and she pretended like we didn't exisit. She didn't even watch us walk out the door. :( She was just staring at her desk and the blocks the teacher had given her. It was like she put herself in a weird trance or bubble. I am sure she was thinking that is she sat so still and didn't move then nobody could see her. Oh to be 5 again!
Then we were of to drop off Peyton. She was just as nervous, but also a little excited. We walked in her into her room and three little boys from her class last year said hi to her. That put her at ease a bit. Her teacher is a cute young thing and I am sure lots of fun. We kissed her goodbye and she also ignored us. What gives? They are only 5 and 7! She also told me not to take any pictures of her in the classroom. I snuck one anyway and nobody saw.
As we drove from the school Kai started crying! He missed his sisters making silly faces at him in the back of the car. I was sad for him, but figured he would be ok. That child was cranky all day until we picked up the girls! Peyton and Eliza ended up having fantastic first days. Peyton actually said her day was amazing!! We couldn't be more proud of our girls!!

Lulu The Terrible
Ever since Peyton arrived, 7 years ago, Lulu has become bitchy. There is no other word to describe her, so I apologize for using a foul word. Lulu is a bitch! She started by weeing on baby things, usually clothes that I had left out on the floor. Really, nothing too major, but cat pee smells horrendous and if she goes on anything that can't be washed then it has to be thrown out. She continued to mark her scent on baby things through the years, but never my stuff. Occasionally, she would go on Andy's things and one time she was sitting on my brother-in-laws suitcase stared at him, peed and then hissed. When she pranced off his suitcase there was a lovely stinky puddle. Sorry Brendan!
Well, apparently I have done something to really piss her off because she is out to get me these days. I am pretty sure it is because I left her for 7 weeks this summer with Andy and the dogs. She clearly felt horribly neglected and unloved. Ever since I got home from my adventures with the kids Lulu has been peeing on my side of the bed!!!!! She peed on my favorite pillow and that could not be saved. My comforter has been washed everyday and I have been changing my sheets once a day, sometimes more! Andy says,"well its like staying at a hotel. New sheets everyday." Thanks for the support honey, but a maid does all that laundry and bed making at a stinkin hotel. I have three kids to care for and a crap load of laundry to do everyday anyway as it is. To wash our comforter, sheets, and blankets, and sometimes actual pillows, EVERYDAY, is just too much!
I give Lulu tons of love and pets. She has a clean litter box everyday, fresh water and food everyday. What more does she want from me? Clearly, this is how she is punishing me for leaving her. As I type this, she is laying on the floor giving me the evil eye. I am sure she is wondering what to do next to get me. I sure hope this is a small blip in our relationship, of 11 years I might add.

Fun Trip to Colorado
We had a wonderful trip out to Colorado. We got to spend quality time the grandparents, cousins, uncles, and Aunt ZZ. It was so special to meet the newest member of the family as well, Wyatt Walker Falvey. He is just precious and we are thrilled to have him here. The girls played endlessly with cousin Jackson, terrorized their uncle Andrew, played numerous cardgames with Uncle Mac, and loved all over their Poppop and Moo. This was a great last hurrah before the start of school!!
Sadly, I didn't take many pictures on this trip. Lindsay took awesome ones, but I can't figure out how to put her pics on here. Guess she will just have to start blogging again!!!! Here are a few of what I have.

Get Well Kai!!
We are missing our sweet boys smile!! Kai is recovering from pneumonia and does seem to be improving, thank goodness. The ER pumped him full of antibiotics, steroids, and breathing treatments that helped ease his pain. He is no longer wheezing and gasping for air, but he is still a sad little boy. All he has been doing is sleeping and whimpering. Poor little man. We are heading to Colorado this weekend and I need Kai to be well, so he can enjoy his grandparents , uncles, aunt, cousins, and the fresh mountain air!
