Peyton: Mom, guess what I learned today?
Me: What??
Peyton: Well, everyone already knew, but I just learned this.
Me: Whaaaat? Just tell me.
Peyton: The people who work at Burger King try to make other people fat.
Andy: Well, the food at any fast food place is not good for you and can make you gain weight.
Peyton: No Dad! Its the people who work at Burger King. The people.
Me: How do the people who work there make you fat?
Peyton: I don't knooowww, its their job.
Andy and Me: Wow, we did not know that. Thanks for sharing this valuable information with us. Good thing we prefer McDonalds and Wendys.

This conversation actually took place at out house tonight.

How am I supposed to get any cooking done in this small kitchen with these two bears in my way?

Apparently, Kai is deathly afraid of flies.

Who knew?

 Lots of panicky crying over a fly that landed on the table while he ate breakfast. He is now traumatized and hates all bugs.

ps. Nobody better make fun him for eating from a princess bowl. His Buzz and Woody bowl have gone missing.

Happy Early Birthday Girls!

This year we decided to give the girls a joint birthday present. It came early because we didn't want to give the gift on Eliza's actual day because that would be unfair to Peyton, so today was the day.  Nonnie and Granny joined in on the dream backyard gift and the kids couldn't be more shocked and excited!

Assembling this bad boy was a serious challenge, but well worth the work and pain. One review said " I am a grandmother and assembled this all by myself. It was so easy and the grand-kids love it." Really, no you didn't and it was not easy! It took two of us with all of our strength and we feel the soreness this am.

 Kai totally freaked out and panicked when he first got on, but soon got the hang of it.

Everyone loves it and couldn't be happier!

On Sunday, I had my mommy all to myself. Daddy took my sisters to a BBQ and stayed all day and were still gone when I went to bed.

 I took my pet dinosaur for a walk

 Oopsie, I fell.

 I pretended I was a cow

 and ate some grass.

 I love to run  from one side to the other. I am super fast.

Mom let me have dessert first. She is super cool.

 Then we had spaghetti together and watched tv. I love twirling my noodles.

Mmmm, al dente. Just the way I like it!

 After dinner mom read me three books and tucked me in. I fell fast asleep. I loved our day together.

Kai from last week

 Apparently, I had pneumonia and the doctor wanted me to go to the hospital because I wasn't doing so well in her office. I was very pale and was breathing very fast and fell asleep while I received a breathing treatment. I slept while we waited for the doctor too. I then had a magical popsicle and felt soooo much better. Mom and dad can't wait for the bill for my popsicle.

I am all better now :)
