Tried A New Recipe

I have been trying to cook more nutritious meals lately. Here is a remake of one of my old favorites, turkey tetrazzini. This recipe included loads of veggies!!  Light cream cheese, chicken broth, and flour made up the creamy sauce instead of the usual cream of mushroom soup. Artichoke hearts were also included and gave  the dish a nice flavor.

good thing the kids are busy playing as this does not look very appealing
cheese makes everything taste better
the finished product

Andy and I enjoyed this meal more than the kids. They picked out the spinach and mushrooms, but at least they tried it! I probably won't make this dish again because it wasn't as delicious as it should have been for the price of the ingredients and the time it took to prepare. Mom, the turkey tetrazzini you made when we were kids was so much better :)

  1. Good for you! I'm sorry it wasn't as good as you hoped. I made homemade spaghetti sauce last night with peppers, tomatoes, onion, and lots of dried spices. It was delicious and healthy with all the veggies. Really easy. Let me know if you want the recipe.
