Andy and I have been going back and forth about when to put Kai in a big bed. Last night, Kai said he wanted the door off his crib. Andy flew downstairs got his screwdriver and removed it faster than I could say anything. Kai seemed cool with it. After all, he said he wanted a big boy bed.
Awww, so cute right?
Not really.
He played, played, and played some more. He opened and closed his door 100 time and then kept saying he wanted the door back on and he wants his baby bed back. When 10:30 rolled around, I gladly agreed with him. Since Andy was on the phone, I put his rail back on and hoped he wouldn't notice. Kai is not ready for a big bed and I am not ready to lose sleep. Maybe next month.
